As my husband, Robin, and I are in the midst of pursuing the mission field I realize there is a lot going on in my head and heart about God, family, mission and life. My daily journey and thoughts may be significantly different than many of you because of the current path I'm on as a full-time missionary, but is it really all that different? We are all on a journey toward God together. The fact is that God is the potter and we're just the clay... no matter what color or shape we are at the moment.
I recently ran across some blog articles I had written about a year ago for a class assignment while attending Sunset International Bible Institute and realized I had more I wanted to share. Since I no longer have the outlet of my pen as a reporter (my former career), I figured I'd start a personal blog instead in hopes of allowing some of you to take the journey with me as I try to allow God to mold me into the woman and missionary he wants me to be.
My prayer is that in some small way you will be encouraged or challenged to see more of God in the world around you -- and that you will strive to shine your light brightly even when you don't feel like a star.
